Black Diamond -- Finished
June 2014

Front quarter and full side

Now the car looks like it should have many paint jobs ago.  Fortunately, my local MAACO guy is a good friend, and goes the extra mile for me when it is needed.  It was going to have black slicers on it, but they made it look TOO black.  These wheels are just right, to give it just a little  sparkle!  I got these wheels and tires at American Tire, and they were a couple of bucks north of (less than) 1 G.  Tires have lifetime warranties.  As I have said before, if I had it to do again, I’d go with Bridgestones....they are a LOT more sensitive to steering input than these Continentals.

Rear Quarter

The rear quarter shot REALLY shows the clearcoat doing its job.  This is what I see in my mind when I think about ‘new paint’.  Finally I have found someone that understands that....Vince, my MAACO guy.

Wheel

None of these pictures actually show how nice these wheels look, because they reflect the shine from the black adjacent to the silver.  They have just enough silver on the corners of the spokes to nicely contrast with all the black.  Ya gotta see it in person!!!
