Neat SHOs That Are Easy On The Eyes
Paul Woodward's SHO in a Magical Pose
I've always liked blue cars...Eva doesn't.  The dark blue on SHOs treats my eyes very kindly....I like looking at them.  This picture has a special calming effect....the truck on the other side of the car needs all the calming it can get....let's hope it benefits from being next to this heavenly SHO!!!
You have your BLUE, and now you have your GREY!
One of the neatest SHOs I have seen....this car was at the 2004 Indiana Convention.
I've misplaced the name of the owner, but I talked to him during the judging event on Tuesday.  It wasn't complete....the paint needed a bit of rubbing out, and there were a couple of rough spots, but it made a very pleasing impression on me.... maybe it was the color he chose....it is Lexus Graphite Pearl, the same color as my GS.

He's a young lad...he'll be at more conventions.  He's a classic example of the new Gen 1 owner we're starting to see...get the car cheap, see its possibilities, and start capitalizing on them.
Notice the different grille.  It looks very clean...if Gen 1s were to be reintroduced, I'd bet at least one design choice would include a hood/grille combination like this one.  Many cars have this sort of hood nowadays.

The headlights are from a late model Chevrolet.
I didn't get a chance to see the headlight pattern at night, but I'd bet it's a lot better than the original lights.  I've often wondered how I could get a current model High Intensity headlight system onto Black Diamond.  I know Sean Simons of BaySHO has worked over his headlights with a H/I system.
Some might think the spoiler is too big.  But the way it blends into the lines, perhaps combined with the color, makes it look very nice.  I also like the HCMSL treatment.
I'm going to need some new wheels somewhere down the road....several cars at the convention had this wheel, or very similar to it.   It isn't too bad
(From me, that's a high compliment!!).
As I see more neat cars, they'll go here.  Last posted to on Sept 1, 2005.
